CLAY COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

The Office of Sheriff here in Clay County is made up of forty-two full time staff and twenty-nine part-time, reserve and volunteers.  Together this team is dedicated to serve the citizens and yearly visitors of Clay County. 

 

Clay County is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western NC.  Founded in 1861, it is home to nearly 12,000 residents who enjoy the peaceful scenery of Lake Chatuge, mountain streams, and a variety of outdoor activities.
